If you are one of those people who wants to drink wine like the Cul-de-sac Crew, but just can't get past the taste of red wine then this Winking Owl Shiraz is for you as it is a very watered-down wine. It simultaneously tastes like red wine and nothing.
Even though I wouldn't call either of the two Winking Owl wines I've tried "good" or even "passable as actual wine," I'm still firmly in the pro-Winking Owl boat. That little owl and the $2.69 price tag will get me every time. I'm giving it an L - I'm embarrassed, but I'll buy this again.
I wonder if the Winking Owl vineyard gives tours?
